Sheepdog Tip of the Day, Before Combat tip 145
The effects of sleep deprivation can impact us if we miss even a single good night's sleep, or as it's referred to clinically, restorative sleep. In addition to the daily reality of disrupted sleep cycles, two key factors are chronic sleep deprivation and acute sleep deprivation. There is evidence that missing as little as one hour of sleep per night for a full week has the same effect as being awake for one full 24-hour period. Sleeping six or fewer hours per night for a week can have the same impact on your heart as smoking a pack of cigarettes per day.
