Sheepdog Tip of the Day, Before Combat tip 28
Police officers know that they have to rehearse changing magazines in their weapons. While it is easy to put a magazine in the well of a gun and slam it in tight, experienced officers know that if they have not drilled on this simple action, they might not be able to do it in a stressful situation. There is particular value in practicing skills under stressful training situations, such as during force-on-force paint bullet engagements. If warriors perform an action under survival stress, then they will truly own the skill in the midbrain.
