Sheepdog Tip of the Day, During Combat tip 26

Seven percent of the officers in Dr. Artwohl's study experienced temporary paralysis in their gunfights. If this paralysis, sometimes referred to as freezing, were actually occurring, then we could say that it is a phenomenon that is clearly not a survival mechanism. Freezing does happen sometimes in combat, but in some cases we know that those who think they are experiencing temporary paralysis are actually experiencing slow motion time.
