You want to control your weight? Then watch your sleep. Being sleep deprived can make you feel hungry. About 1 AM, when you ordinarily would be dead asleep, you get that incredible case of the "munchies"? That's the body saying, something's wrong, let's try food. It doesn't work. Now you are sleep deprived and overweight!
