The types of training may be, in general terms, described as follows: Dry (holding and aiming, walk- and talk-through, dry-firing). Controlled (mixed live and dry, shooting groups, shooting on command, match workups, operational workups). Rehearsals (simulations of competitions or operations scenarios). Operational (hunting, competition, police/military operations).
