Sheepdog Tip of the Day, Before Combat tip 183
I have had students who felt that, because they met the minimum standard of 45 seconds one time, they were successful. I think all of us have met people who considered themselves prepared because they managed to meet a minimum standard. Boy, are those people wrong! There is an expression I am reminded of: Amateurs train until they get it right; professionals train until they cant get it wrong. The point of all the practice, preparation, mental rehearsal, and study that I have been talking about is to prepare until you almost are incapable of making a mistake.
